Labrador Puppies Litter Information

This year at Balemy Labradors:-

March 24th
Daisy had her all yellow litter of 5 boys and 2 girls to Drummer and all are doing really well. All puppies have guaranteed homes to go to at 8 weeks old in May. We'll be adding a picture for each week that the puppies are with us.

Approx. September/October 2010:-
We're planning a litter with our girl Bella (Waglett Black Bel) to a chocolate male (details of male/sire yet to be confirmed). It would be only a litter of mainly black puppies with some chocolate puppies as well but no yellow puppies (2009 litter was 6 black females, 1 chocolate male and 3 chocolate females). We will take mainly families on wait list that are wanting a black puppy but for any families wanting chocolate puppies you'll have to contact us after the litter has been born, so would need to keep a check on this page for information later in the year.

For costing and information on either of the 'above' litters, please use our contacts page or email of balemylabs@yahoo.com.au and if do need to call, please only call between hours of 9am to 7pm.

About Balemy Labrador Puppies

Labrador Puppy Our puppies are hand-reared on our property and are well integrated with people, older dogs and other puppies. When up and walking they can roam our backyard, that has beautiful flowers year round. They also have many toys to choose from to play with!

All our puppies when they go to their new homes are placed on a Limited Register with the Canine Control Council of QLD unless you are a registered breeder or from pre-approval from us. What does Limited Register mean? You still get a registered pedigree Labrador Retriever but limited register means you can't breed or show them. You still can do obedience trialing/tracking/retrieving etc though. This however does not stop someone from 'backyard breeding'.

Each litter is different and not all puppies in a litter are "show quality", by placing them on a limited register is our way of ensuring the 'betterment' of the Labrador Retriever breed. Show quality only means the best example of the breed for showing purposes, though this does not take away from the other labs in a litter that would be wonderful companions as a much loved family member, guide dog or trained as a disability dog!

Puppies go to their new families with their special puppy folder, vaccination certificate, first set of worming tablets, enough food for first week, will be flea treated for one month (Frontline), of had a thorough Vet Check at both 6 weeks and 8 weeks of age, will be microchipped, CD Rom with lots of pictures of the litter whilst with us, toy, chewy, 6 weeks free Pet Plan Insurance and some special extras.

Parents of all puppies born here at Balemy Labradors have been hip and elbow scored with good results (below the breed average). Pedigrees and pictures of our dogs are in their own sections under Boys and Girls pages. We also use 'stud' dogs from other kennels which we will e-mail details and pictures of the father/sire if you are purchasing a puppy from us from one of these litters only.

If you have never owned a Labrador Retriever before we encourage you to do some research about the breed first, either on the internet, your local veterinarian, other Labrador breeders, books, magazines etc.. We also have some information on our Lab Info Page for you. Ask plenty of questions to make sure you are aware of both the good points and possible health issues with your choice of companion before you decide. Remember you will have this new 'family' member for life!

We only breed several times a year and if you would like to contact us to be placed on our waiting list or just to enquire, you can do so through our contacts page.

We welcome any enquiries!
